Laser Surgery in Our Clinic
Although there are several laser surgery methods (PRK, No-touch, SMILE, etc.) for correcting the refractive errors, the most used and the most experienced method is LASIK in the world. In our clinic, Femto Laser-Assisted Surgery (i-LASIK) is practiced bladeless (microkeratome) by using the most modernized systems with a very experienced surgery team. The most important advantages of this surgery are ‘security’ and ‘sensitivity’.
Wavefront Technology
Individual laser treatment is performed by this technology also known as “Eye of the Eagle”. Also correcting the aberrations apart from myopia, hypermetropia, and astigmatism increase the quality of vision.
Before the Laser Surgery
Stop wearing your contact lenses 3 days in advance. Firstly, a detailed eye examination is practiced and eye power is determined. Afterward, elaborated analyses including also corneal thickness and topographic maps of cornea are practiced. If factors causing lacerations, holes, etc. are detected in retinal examination, these areas must be treated by argon laser and excimer laser treatment should be delayed for at least 3 weeks.
- When you come for the operation

During the Laser Surgery
The operation is painless. Most of our patients have a comfortable operation. Eyes are only anesthetized by eye drops. The operation of one eye takes a couple of minutes. Staying in the operating room is about 15 minutes.
After the Laser Surgery
After the operation, you can return to your home. It is normal that you have watering, pain, sinking for 4-5 hours in your eye. Apply the eye drops as your doctor advises. Don’t massage the eye, don’t let it touch soap or water. It isn’t suggested you drive on the day you are operated. The first control examination is on the next day. You really make it seem so easy together with your presentation but I
find this topic to be actually one thing which I think I’d by no means understand.
It sort of feels too complex and extremely broad for
me. I’m taking a look ahead for your next publish,
I’ll try to get the cling of it!
